Mid-September updates
SEPTEMBER 16, 2024
Here it is, the middle of September, and I am just barely sitting down to write up the happenings of the last few weeks. I do love this time of year, as summer winds down and fall is just around the corner. There are things that I truly enjoy about all of the seasons, but fall is my current favorite. I enjoy the cooler temperatures, the changing colors, the cool crisp mornings, and seasonal drinks to sip while appreciating all that autumn has to offer.
We have been quite busy with church activities, work, and the things of daily life. In our spare time I have continued to read, and Laurel has some as well. She also has completed a jigsaw puzzle or two. I had a chance to visit my Mom a couple of weeks ago and brought back some of the stuff she had set aside for me as she has been going through some of her things and through Dad's things as well.
One of the things I have been trying to make a more concerted effort on is selling some of my things on eBay. So far I have sold a watch, a camera, and am preparing to ship a piece of computer equipment that I had purchased but didn't end up using. It's not much, but it is a start!
I recently picked up a Sony digital camcorder and, since I sold off one camera, purchased another one! It is a little Sony RX100 Mk VII, a premium compact camera that I am hoping to learn and get more proficient with. It is small enough I can take it with me just about anywhere. Looking forward to getting familiar with it in the days ahead.
Well, that's about it for the moment. As always, feel free to reach out. Would love to establish contact again with folks from the past, so drop an e-mail and let's catch up!
